Joanna Przybyła is a Polish-born writer, vocalist, and mother living in Lagos, Portugal. A lifelong musician, she has performed as a freelance singer and with the Opole Gospel Choir at concerts, festivals, and television productions in Poland and abroad.

Before moving to Portugal, Joanna spent seven years working in Warsaw’s film-distribution industry, supporting office management, marketing, and film-premiere events. Her professional background also includes radio, festival organization, travel, hospitality, administration, and customer service.

Joanna has studied Spanish philology, music journalism, business, and marketing. She taught herself Portuguese after moving abroad and is currently learning Japanese and playing piano. She loves writing, languages, animals, travel, spirituality, neuroplasticity, and learning about the human brain.

Song of Chaos is her first memoir.
